Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is a photo managing and editing program that combines photo management and editing tools in one easy-to-use interface. It helps users with viewing, managing, and editing a large amount of images and containing them in one place. Originally, Lightroom was only available to desktop users, but this has recently changed. A few weeks ago, Adobe introduced us to Lightroom Mobile for iPad users, and so far the response has been positive.
About Lightroom Mobile
Released earlier this month, Lightroom Mobile is compatible on the iPad 2 or newer, and runs on iOS 7 or later (but don’t worry, iPhone users, Adobe’s told us to expect an iPhone version to debut later this year). The app is free to download, but requires an Adobe Creative Cloud plan in order to use it. Note: Adobe offers a 30-day trial if you’d like to test out the app before you commit to a purchase.
Adobe Lightroom Mobile’s Key Features
One of the app’s key features is its ability to synchronize with the desktop version of Lightroom, meaning any work you do on the desktop version should automatically appear in the mobile version, and vice versa (keep in mind you will need to be connected to the Internet for this feature).

Additionally, Lightroom Mobile can import images from your iPad’s camera roll and sync them back to the desktop version, and you can also use the Auto Import option to grab and sync any new photos from your camera roll that aren’t yet in Lightroom Mobile.
Aside from just being able to sync your photos, Lightroom Mobile comes stacked with all the keys editing tools you’re used to using on the desktop version, such as white balance, contrast, clarity, and vibrance. It also comes equipped with useful presets for applying black-and-white and color filters, looks, and tones, and it also comes with a handy crop tool.
Sharing Your Photos
With Lightroom Mobile, you have the ability to share your enhanced images through any of iOS’s services, such as Messages, Mail, Twitter, and Facebook.
